ODS | Drafting Office was founded by Omar D. Silva with a clear vision: to provide thoughtful, design-driven drafting support that empowers architects, builders, developers, and homeowners to move their projects forward with clarity and confidence.

Design has always been part of Omar’s story. As a second-generation architectural designer raised in Miami, he developed an early understanding of how ideas become built environments one line at a time. That foundation evolved into a professional path—beginning with hands-on CAD work and growing into a Master of Architecture from Florida International University (FIU).

With over 15 years of drafting experience, Omar has built ODS into a reliable extension of his clients’ teams. The office focuses on producing high-quality, well-coordinated drawing sets using the latest tools and workflows, allowing design professionals to stay focused on their clients, creativity, and business growth—without getting buried in production.

Today, ODS operates as a collaborative drafting partner on projects across the country. Omar remains deeply committed to refining both the technical and design side of the practice—constantly improving systems, embracing new technology, and raising the standard of deliverables.

Outside the office, Omar enjoys time with his wife and family, often taking advantage of South Florida’s outdoors. That balance between life and work is central to how he approaches the studio: grounded, intentional, and built for long-term growth.
